Commercial Voice Overs for TV & Radio
A conversational, millennial voice that captures your listener’s attention. Whether it’s a national brand, the voice of a brewery, the guy next door or the world’s greatest Dad, Alex Herring brings a passion for doing things the right way to every project. Alex delivers approachable storytelling with uncanny authenticity.
More than just a nice voice
Alex is proud to be the radio and TV broadcast voice of Donatos Pizza for three years and counting. He began his voice over journey while living in NYC in 2011. The talent-rich caverns of the big apple offered the opportunity to train with the best coaches in the industry in conjunction with acting, improv and group classes. Live auditions were still the go-to approach when he began voice acting. This provided the opportunity to work with directors, casting agents, and producers auditioning for every genre of VO. Alex was fortunate enough to book jobs with Yamaha, Charter Spectrum, Jansen, the Ad Council and Mapfre Insurance with Rafael Nadal.
Competitive, Focused Results
Competing and consistently performing as a voice actor for broadcast TV and radio commercials is a coveted role. It takes years of training and networking to break into this in-demand and high-profile genre of voice over. All of the skills Alex attained while living in NYC taught him how to take a piece of copy and break it down, harness the writer’s message and deliver versatility to the listener. Ultimately, Alex’s mission is to lend his voice in support of an idea, complement the vision of the client, producer, copywriter and director, and create the audio that bridges and harmonizes, from a very human perspective, the visuals in the ad.
